as such i've decided to redecorate my own room - something i'd been intending to do for a while actually, which only ever seemed to reach a significant amount of appeal around the same time of HSC for some baffling reason.
so being the list maker i am, i made a list of ways to abuse my time, which i'll now document here so it doesn't get lost in my indecipherable scribble from the other day:
- replace photoboard with four record covers (ideas: new order's 'power, corruption and lies' is a must, the jesus and mary chain's 'psychocandy' or 'automatic', i love depeche mode's 'violater' but there's already a floral theme in new orders, echo and the bunnymen 'best of' since all the others aren't that great, joy division's 'unknown pleasures' though i also like 'love will tear us apart')
- new photoboard beside desk - half photos/half whiteboard
- original lolita poster
- paper cranes to hang inside mosquito net
- banner for door exit
- obtain a multi-powerplug so my fairy lights and chinese lanterns can all light at once
- black fabric to overlay the purple on my desk chair, and sew it on this time so it sticks
- mini shelf so my books have a home that's not the underneath of my bed
- find stack of cds that have mysteriously disappeared
- pencil owl on wall
