hypernova

if christopher kane and finders keepers had a love child, it would be risto bimbiloski. part inspired by parisian design, part inspired by early pop images on MTV, risto bimbiloski's innovative take on spring leaves fashion lovers everywhere asking what is it and where can i get it? his floral patterns and pastel palettes are said to be influenced by digital references, including ASCII art and the colours reflected by CDs, presumably the explanation for the kaleidoscopic leggings, dynamic quilted parkas, and dresses that look as though they could've starred on the cover of pink floyd's dark side of the moon. bimbiloski still allows an element of wearability however, with more reserved pieces focused on 90s-eque layering and grunge detail, which i guess appeals to a more teenaged audience, keen to reminiscence over the summers of '99.
