soar

i just watched this video that made me want to go jump off a cliff, but in a good way. it was of a group of french people dubbing themselves the 'skyliners' that basically push themselves to their ultimate limits by climbing, highlining, basejumping and at times even 'flying' through the air. even with safety backups it's of course incredibly dangerous, but i somehow find it reassuring that they will still die - sooner or later - having felt something very few people in the world ever will get the chance to. it's crazy how in a world of so much fear, just a couple people can restore my faith in pure bravery again. the human race will never fail to amaze me.
