to so many people 'being happy' is the single-most important thing in life. but a man can go from feeling everything to feeling nothing in just a few days. it's funny how some spend their whole life trying to get just a little bit of that feeling back.
there's not just one day when all of the worry and disquiet that is wired into human DNA will cast from its roots and the universe will decidedly cease its unremitting injustice. when people feel down, they’ll make a citation to some time down the road when it’ll all be ‘figured out.’ when exactly do they believe this eschatological moment will occur? sometime in the far-off future? you're aware that one day - perhaps out of nowhere- you're going to die, right?
