there's always been something about live music photography that i've never been much a fan of. i guess i've always deemed it something that requires more luck than skill, but in light of recent months, coming across sophie jarry's images a number of times and being equally wowed by each new set i can see there's really something special about concert photography and its potential glory only able to be captured by a small talented handful. whether it's simply her choice of interesting characters or her ability to snap just at the right moment is unclear, but what's undebatable is the beautiful results that come.
