cream of the crops
my music taste has really taken a turn in these past couple months. it's interesting to think back on myself a couple years ago and how i was once so sheltered and comfortable in one area of specific genre, compared to now, where i can honestly say i have one foot in every stylistic door. my top artists alone demonstrate my whacked up taste featuring artists from almost every genre; electronic, soul, new wave, singer-songwriter, RnB, dubstep, experimental, lo-fi...i admit it takes - or at least took me - a while to get into more experimental types of music and others that were never really in my wheelhouse, but i must say it's certainly worth the wait. in my newfound excitement for all kinds of music, i've been searching for a lot of new stuff, and today decided to compile a short playlist of some of the gems i've come across of late.
